ABOUT OUR VENUES

Located in the heart of the South Loop, PianoForte Chicago was founded by Thomas Zoells with the idea of promoting and making available the line of Fazioli pianos.  It quickly grew into a piano store with a wide range of instruments and piano-related services including accessories, recording, rentals, student performances, and lessons. PianoForte is located on the east side of Michigan Avenue two blocks south of Roosevelt Rd. at 1335 South Michigan Ave, Chicago, IL 60605. The concert hall is on the 2nd Floor.

For 35 years, The Annoyance Theatre has created some of Chicago’s finest comedy. The Annoyance uses improvisation to create new and original plays, musicals, sketch-comedy and more in a vibrant, uncensored atmosphere. Under the guidance of Artistic Director Mick Napier, The Annoyance also provides excellent quality training in improvisation. Hundreds of performers have appeared at The Annoyance, many of whom you can see today on stage, in films, and on television.  All are welcome at The Annoyance (over the age of 14), and while there, they may use the bathroom that fits their gender identity. The main stage theater is on the 2nd floor.

The easiest way to find parking for either venue is by using SpotHero. Metered and unmetered street parking are available, but finding a spot can be difficult. PianoForte Chicago and The Annoyance Theatre are both handicap accessible and are equipped with elevators to provide access to the performance space.
